Winter Choir Concert (7th and 8th Grade only):Tuesday, December 5th 7:00PM (6:00PM Call time for after school chorus, 6:30PM Call time for all other members) @ Truman HS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The Armstrong MS Winter Choir Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 5th at 7:00PM in the auditorium at TRUMAN HIGH SCHOOL for seventh and eighth grade students only. The arrival/performance times are listed above.

All students who are participating in the concert will receive white Armstrong Music Polos during the week of 11/13-17 to borrow. They will likely retain them for the Spring Concert as well and bring them back by the end of that week. Further instructions on when these shirts will be returned will be determined after the Winter Break. Students are responsible for their shirt. Any students that do not return a shirt or damages it will be charged an $8 replacement fee. Students should wear black pants/dress and dress shoes with their Armstrong Music Polo. No jeans, no sneakers.

The dress rehearsal is mandatory for any seventh and eighth grade student who wishes to perform in the Winter Concert. All seventh and eighth grade students who do not attend BOTH the dress rehearsal AND concert (for any reason) will be required to complete the __alternative writing assignment__ and by Wednesday, December 13th 2:45PM. The concert or __alternative writing assignment__ is worth 25% of the student’s final second and fourth marking period grades.

We are providing nearly a month notice so parents have time to mark their calendars and make arrangements for their child to participate in the concert. We currently have 487 students between the two of us. Please keep this in mind when calling the school and leaving messages, especially during the week leading up to the concert. We do our best to always communicate with the students and parents well in advance so there is adequate time to prepare. Please take a few minutes to ensure you and your child on are on the same page regarding the Winter Concert.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via email:

Mrs. Winebrenner: __kristen.winebrenner@bristoltwpsd.org__ Mr. Marlow: __joe.marlow@bristoltwpsd.org__

Thank you!
